If your home has hard floors and low-pile carpets, the D20 Ultra is designed to clean both without using the same approach everywhere.
It uses Ultrasonic Carpet Sensing to recognize carpet, boost suction, and lift the mops by up to 10.5 mm. For carpets with piles longer than 3 mm, use the Dreamehome app to set the robot to avoid medium- and high-pile carpets in Intelligent Cleaning of Carpet mode. This helps you keep mopping focused on the floors that are suitable for it.
If pet fur is part of your daily cleaning routine, the D20 Ultra is designed to help you keep on top of it with 13,000Pa suction, efficient fur collection, and pet-zone avoidance.
You can also adjust mopping wetness to suit the spaces your pets use. The D20 Ultra does not list a dedicated anti-tangle or hair-cutting brush feature, so it is still a good idea to check the main brush regularly if long hair builds up in your home.

Smart Pathfinder™ Technology uses advanced laser distance sensors to map rooms, measure distances, and plan a cleaning route. Its 3DAdapt™ Obstacle Avoidance system helps it move around furniture and other everyday obstacles as it cleans.
If you want a robot vacuum that takes care of much of the cleanup after a run, the D20 Ultra’s All-in-One PowerDock handles the main dust and mop-pad tasks for you.
It empties dust into a 3.2 L dust bag, which can provide up to 100 days of hands-free dust collection. It also washes the mop pads and dries them with warm air after cleaning. The dock uses a 4.5 L clean-water tank and a 4 L used-water tank to support mop washing. Actual dust-bag life will vary based on your home and how often you clean.
If you are cleaning a larger home, the D20 Ultra is designed to keep going for longer before it needs to return to the dock.
Its 5,200mAh battery can provide up to 260 minutes of cleaning in Vacuuming Mode with Quiet suction selected. Actual runtime will vary depending on your floor type, cleaning mode, and home layout. When the battery runs low, it returns to recharge, and it charges up to 30% faster than previous Dreame robot vacuum models.
